TA funding idea

What about setting up some of the pay to surf programs to fund the banner ads and other cracking causes? With most of them they have the levels so everyone gets paid. whoevers at the top of the list would make the most obviously, but there wouldnt really be a problem with people not wanting to send part of thee referaals to the top level because theyre making money too. Hell we could all get rich, and beat the dpc!!!!

Something to consider, and of course nobody would have to do it if they didnt want too.

then again that could be a bad idea, Im sure theres something i didnt think about.

would work, and could get some dollars for the team, but most guys here dont like such programs on their desktop, i for one have tried such programs and they get annoying very fast. so i doubt id do it, but you never know who will until you set one up and push it in the forums

Humm, I think someone reccomended this before. If I remember right, it didn't pan out due to the annoyance of using the banners for such little cash(less than $8 a month for All-Advantage; and it takes $20 to get paid).

my friend and I tried to do that effectively. Even thoough my friend did get some 50 referrals and made some 50 bucks for it, he stopped.

All advantage rarely pays out now and it takes some 3 months before you'll see a check. Before hadn it was great, paid almost every month and somewhere in the 40 dollar range.. Now... BAH!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't someone set up an account that we can all refer to. I think All-Advantage pays for referalls up to 5 deep. If we were to set up 5 accounts. The 2nd account refers to the first account and the 3rd to the 2nd etc. Then everyone in the forums signs up using the 5th account as the referer. Even if everyone only uses the program for an hour, we still get the amount for referalls.

We would have to have 5 seperate people set up the first 5 accounts to make it legit, but I think we could get some money (at least $50 like Gatsby's friend).

all advantage does payout. i have been paid for every month that i have used it. although they do delay their payments a couple of months which sucks. i have stopped using it now.

btw, although most people dont like having ads on their screens, there is still plenty of ways to remove the ad from your screen without using software that they can detect

I really don't like banners either but the one I use isn't a get &quot;paid to surf&quot; sort of thing. It's more of a get &quot;paid to be connected to the net&quot; and since I have a cable modem and several computers at home it works out nicely. I just Alt-Tab out of games (when possible) and click on the thing every now and again to keep it going. MUCH less annoying than AllAd and it seems to pay better as well. Covers the cost of the electricity my machines use.

I've plans of setting up a website where these kind of programs (only the best, according to a number of criteria) will be offered to the benefit of TA.

I am going to start with the execution of this plan, after all the work for the newsletter is done and it is running smoothly.
