Stats were early this morning! So early, in fact, that I wasn't even awake to dump my 1.2GHz. Athlon. 🙁

Oh well, I guess I'll have about 200 DPs tomorrow! 😉

BTW, I've been running Windows XP RC1 on my Athlon, and I've noticed a nice 5% performance increase over Windows 98SE (550,000 iterations/sec as opposed to 520,000 iteration/sec). I've been really impressed with XP RC1. It runs NHL 2001 flawlessly, something that I could never get Windows 2000 to do. And it's been rock-solid stable: not one crash in the two and a half days that I've been running it. The integrated CD burning and Remote Desktop Sharing are really cool features as well. Microsoft seems to have a winner for once! 😀 😉

5% is nice.. I got my RC1 download but haven't gotten around to installing it yet.. maybe this would be a good reason 🙂 (never tried ECCp on my Beta 2 install)

Congrats to the Team for edging out SmartTrust for the day. We may hold them off yet - hopefully they are not hoarding up DPs to blow by us. They do have twice as many active members as we do.

I am hoping my Radeon LE will run a little faster in XP than Win2K. I was a little disappointed by the Win 2K performance in a few games.
 
Do you guys have yours set to automatically send the DP? I have a cable modem so I just checked the box that says i have a permanent connection. I don't think it makes a difference, but...does it?
 
Jittles.. if you uncheck that box it will just save up the points until you decide to send them.
i keep mine checked just so they send right away

Even though I have a cable modem at home, I still don't have that "Permanent Internet Connection" box checked. For one thing, it doesn't stay checked after I quit the program and reopen it, so I usually forget to check it. For another, I like to see how many DPs my computer has done since the last time I dumped it. Leaving the box unchecked it easier than trying to remember how many total DPs were done before I left and then subtracting that from the current number. 😉

i have the 'permanant internet connection box' click too. I get around 590,000 iteration/sec with my 1.266 amd athlon and win2k. Is this a good amount to be getting?

think i will most likely be installing rc1 on my laptop tonight.. got a spare drive so if i
don't get good results i'll just switch back 😎
 
AppleTalking, the permanent connection box will stay checked upon restart if you set PERM_CONN=1 in your eccp109.ini file.
