Anyone care to comment:

LG60PK550 - biggest - cheapest - glare city - 24p

58" panny S2 - ??? glare - ?? 24p? anyone?

58" Samsung C550 - good reviews - but ?? Glare

Please suggest a pick. I am inclined to try to deal with the glare and go with the 60" but man how bad is the glare?

The Panasonic is easily the worst out of the bunch. The LG is nice, but if the glare is too much for you, I'd get the Samsung.

I hate Samsung, so I would go with either the LG or the Pany you listed :).

I had a 46" c550 in the place i was staying for work. i disliked it compared to my panasonic t-42C2.(which is even lower than the s2)

Picture quality wise it didnt look as good even after changing the setting with user defined ones. That c550 had 400+ hours on it so that might have had a factor on it. But for some reason i just felt it didnt look as good quality wise. Could have been the room setting or different lighting than i was used to but overall i disliked it. Glare wise i didnt have problem but it was also not having direct light on it. The major thing i disliked and you could probably disable it but i didnt look into it much was the tv would like correct itself for the lighting. If i had the room lights on it would brighten itself. if i turned the lights off it would darken itself. It was odd and i didnt see nay options to turn it off (again only a quick look though). But i didnt like the lights off look, it was to dark for me. But YMMV on that im sure some people like it.

Anyways theres my experience with the c550. Its still a nice set dont get me wrong!
