t41 wireless net performance issues

I am using my new t41
i have the intel 2100 wifi


the performance is very sporadic

its like it does it in spurts and then pauses for a few seconds and then works again


driver issues?

i have the netgear mr814v2 and had to update my firmware. as soon as I did that, all was great (that was with a compaq). check that out.

 
I had to roll back my drivers for my t40 after I updated it. Also try changing channels- cordless phones and other networks can interfere.
