If you've looked at the available configurations of the IBM T40 ThinkPad, you will have noticed that you can get it with either a mobile FireGL card with 64MB of video memory or a mobile Radeon 9000 with only 32MB of video mem.

My question is which one would make a better gaming set-up?

Any views? Thanks!

I would to know this as well.
Also, is it just me or are a bunch of previous T40 configurations missing from IBM's site.

you're damn right, BHAROK.

looks like IBM pulled out some of the configs from their webpage.
my config does not show up and its funny, bcoz my vendor just put the order for that particular model just last night through IBM.
and it was the 2nd most expensive model.

I hope my order does come through though.......can't wait

Did they pull a 64MB Radeon 9000 option?

Could it be they will have a Radeon 92000/9600 unit out in May?

The Radeon would be better. FireGL is meant for professional work and I really doubt that it can out perform the Radeon in games.

The Second highest model only had 32 mb (Radeon) of memory whereas the FireGL has 64 mb .
