i've been monitoring this forum hardcare for about 2 months to pick out a laptop, but finally decided to sign up so that i could give someone a new idea. everyone always has the same couple suggestions for laptops

for about 2000, i got a pretty sweet hooked up machine.

Intel Pentium M 1.6 Ghz
512 megs ram
60 gig hdd
dvd/cd-rw modular drive
Centrino wireless technology
13.3" XGA screen

ALL weighing 4.5 lbs w/ the dvd drive or 3.85 lbs with the modular bay weight saver.

but look at the weight man, the weight. and the size

i keep seeing people looking for small light laptops that have a long battery life and this is never mentioned. notebooks that are bigger and heavier are always mentioned. i'm just tossing out the idea.

i bought one of these and absolutely love it, just trying to help other people out.

NO i dont work for fujitsu, i'm a med student.

the only problem i would have with that notenook is the onboard Intel graphics other than that i like fujitsu notebooks
they used to be the exclusive company to Voodoo PC before they started branding they're own.

i agree, its not the best gaming machine around. i dont play any games on it at all, got the xbox for that. but for just bout everything else its perfect if u want small, light, and power.

I agree would make an awesom school or even a small business jitsu's are great
I had one of the new N series the screen on that one is awesome it's an MVA and it was simply gorgeous picture rival a good CRT
but sold it just to big and heavy as i wanted something more travel friendly but packed a graphics punch so i went for the T40

I did not see that model but ended up with a Vaio V505BX for about $400 less. Only has a 12.1" screen and 16MB RAM (I don't play games at all on it) but it is very portable, even while riding my motorcycle and watched a movie last night while the power was out throughout the northeast.
