T2300E vs T2400 Performance

Does anyone have an idea as far as the performance difference between the T2300e and the T2400. Approx how many percent speed is the T2400 faster by. Thanks for any help
 
I have a T2400 in my laptop and while its a great chip, I wouldnt use any less. And theyre not very expensive anyway.
 
I would guess 8% or so in really world situations, it's rare to ahcieve perfect scaling just due to a clockspeed increase.
 
Also the T2300E does not have Virtualization, if you plan on using that.

Honestly, I'd spec out a notebook with everything else you absolutely need, and then put whatever extra money you have in your budget to the CPU. Start with the T2300E and move up from there.

Or wait a month or two & get a Merom (Core 2 Duo) notebook.
