Hi, i have T1840.
At start shown warning:BAD CPU FAN and will shot down in 5 sec. But fan is working, even i replaced with another one-same problem.
I'm using for CPU fan power plug located near on the left top side (CPUfan #1).
Also using case fan-below PCI slot on the left.
I can't go into the BIOS, because sustem shoot downs after 5 sec or do i need
to press some key until system checks the fan?
Someone sayd: turn off the CPU fan check is a bad idea!!!???

See if you can change the RPM for the fan monitoring. Is it a low RPM fan? They will cause that. Also...does it have 3 wires on the plug? The yellow wire is for RPM monitoring and needs to be there.

If it's a P4 or newer or an Athlon64 based CPU then just turn off the fan shut down. The CPU's these days have overheat protections and you should be fine. Just periodically check your fans for wear/dust, etc.

Thanks for respond.
It's CELERON(WILLIAMSWILE) 1.8 GH.
Now i got NEWS: replaced from working second PC same 1.8GH(WIL) CPU and FAN and i have same story: system is S.DOWN in 5 sec because CPU fan!!!!!
Moved from thise PC CPU&FAN to another one and it just works PERFECT.
Thise means: CPU and FAN are OK.
Something wrong with MOB but i don't know what to do more, into BIOS i can't go either,
PC got some contin. beeping .
Any ideas?
