I don't know if any of you read my post a few days ago, but apparently I am SOL with cable and DSL. Right now I can either have satellite/56k, both are terrible when you have been using cable for the past few years. T1 is my last resort, I am willing to pay.... but I don't know if T1 is available everywhere... is it like cable? Do they only provide certain areas? I was also wondering what a good company is for residential T1.... I sure hope I can get something better then 56k/satellite..... :( Thanks in advance

That depends on where you live. Down here in TX, SBC will do it...as well as CBeyond. I think Verizon will also do it.

eli gave our remote office a great deal on a partial T1 + voice (same line, only used half the channels for data)

Do you realize the cost of T1? I think it's still 400-900 a month depending on who you go through.

yes I do realize the cost, some of them are $250 for the cheapest T1, but I have only found that kind of price for businesses. I'll check out Eli

Man you must be crazy addicted to the internet to pay for a T1 line to your house. The monthly fees and the equipment you will need will be ridiculous!
