LOS ANGELES -- USC quarterback Mark Sanchez will skip his senior season to enter the NFL draft.

Sanchez and Georgia's Matthew Stafford, another junior coming out early, are considered the top two quarterback prospects in the draft. Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford of Oklahoma decided to return to school next year.

Sanchez is coming off a spectacular Rose Bowl against Penn State. The fourth-year junior went 28-for-35, setting a Rose Bowl record by completing 80 percent of his passes. He threw for 413 yards and four touchdowns, and also ran for a score in the Trojans' 38-24 victory over Penn State.

Carroll still has plenty of weapons on offense and I'm sure he has yet another good quarterback just waiting to start.

I'm hoping it's more of a "Twins" situation and ATOT has finally brought them together.

Yep. College players have 5 years to play 4.

Smart financial move by him. This upcoming draft is thin on QB talent so he's not going to have much competition for teams that need QBs. Next year is going to be very competitive.

Of course is you're worrying about your classes... it makes it hillarious! (Says the man who took 7 years to finish out a 4 year degree...)

lots of people do that...they're called "Doctors" 😉

Sanchez has the prototypical NFL QB body and has above average mobility. I hope he doesn't go to the Lions, though.

David Carr part deux.

It's hard to read David Carr. I can't tell if he was a bust because of his self or because of the horrible offensive lines he had to suffer through while at Houston. Probably both.

I blame the Texan's directly for Carr's lack of success in the NFL. :|
