I wouldent recomend that happauge one. I bought that exact same thing and it would casuse my system to not boot correctly and when it did work, the video would sometimes freeze up and i would have to restart the tv program. I decided to take it back, and when i pulled it out of the slot, the tv screw in port thing snapped right off. Luckily I shuved it back in enough that compusa took it back :p

Realistically, you are better off to spend 50 on a used TV.
Just plug it in and sit back...........No drivers.......:)

I second the Leadtek one if you are looking for something < $30.

You can do that, although you'll be limited to the display size on your monitor. I think I've read good reviews about this card for $45:

If you want a cheaper one, try this:

I don't know anything about it, but Leadtek is generally considered to be a good brand, and I'm not really familiar with the brands on any of the similarly priced cards.

I don't know that much about this, but this site is pretty reputable for HTPC stuff, and I just jumped on a bundle w/ Hauppage 150, Beyond TV and Remote for just over $100 - and you *can* record stuff if you want ;)

Here's the OEM, currently only $ 45: PVR 150
