Looks like Dallas (Williams to be specific) gave many other teams an early Christmas present.
There is a big Philly fan (he lived in Philly) where I work and I told him I kinda laughed when I saw TO go down and out. He got mad and said that was unsportsman-like to laugh.

I said "Look whos talking about sportsmanship. Wasn't it the Philly fans laughing when someone on the other team broke their leg? "

it's great that you take pleasure in a player having a season ending injury. it just goes to show how pathetic it is to be a dallas fan that that is all you can take pleasure in is cheering against the eagles.

Didn?t the eagle fans cheer when one of the cowboys had a career ending injury?
well yeah....but you can't get down on them for that. Being assholes and chucking batteries at other teams is part of their "culture"

hahahaha-looks like the eagles will choke again.
Um, choking is losing at full strength. Forget your parachute before hitting every branch on the stupid tree?

Who goes into the playoffs at full-strength anyway @sshat? No one. I know it hurts to be the next Buffalo Bills. hahahaha
Hey d!psh!t, no sht teams have injuries. But not arguably THE MVP OF THE NFL. Again, forget your parachute?

Sorry while I agree that T.O. is important he isn't MVP of the NFL. He isn't even MVP of his own team.
Do you deny that Philly wouldn't be where they are now w/out TO? Could McNabb take them to the SB before TO, with better teams to boot than this year's? Kthnxbye.

<--- not a Dallas fan and I'm still overjoyed that TO is out for the season. The only thing better would be a career ending injury.

what, did TO kill your mom and rape your dog?

Nope, but old enough to know the difference between a normal player getting injured and arguably the MVP of the league. Try again, d!psh!t.

As a Giants fan, I can't say that I feel sorry for the Eagles. More like, "Welcome to our world" with worse timing. Not that we were all that good to begin with. :p

Seriously, look at it this way - would you rather have TO for 15 weeks or Toomer for a whole season? I thought so... :D

Wow, you must really have a lot invested emotionally regarding TO to care that much about an athlete you'll never meet or know in real life. TO must have really struck a nerve with you. Congrats on your harbored hostility. You should really get that checked out though.

OK now that the initial wave of anger has worn off, I still think we can get to the SB. Our defense is really playing exceptional right now and I think we can ride the D through the NFC east (but now Kearse and Dawkins are probably going to go out for the year next week because I said that)

Be where they are now? Sure. The NFC is weak. Go to the Superbowl? Doubt it.

WOW. AWESOME. My dad also works with trainers for the EAGLES. He will prolly apply a BOne stimulator to TO.
Dude, what does your dad do?

NFL Ref. Along with a lot of medical stuff

I'm sorry, but I have to ask. Is your dad the ref that always says "forouwrl" instead of "foul" when announcing the penalty? I hope you know what I mean, if not keep an eye out for it. You can check if it's your dad by asking him to say foul 5 times.

Even with TO out, who will beat Philly? The Falcons? *snicker* The Packers??

Dude, you have nobody to blame but Andy Reid. You're lucky he didn't get injured last week against Green Bay. They should have sat McNabb and TO after the half, I don't care how close the game was. Their only two games left are @ St. Louis, and vs. Cincy.

Erm... yes, I have one. What good will it do them to have a 13-1 record if they lose in the NFC championship again? I doubt that they would be 13-1 without TO, but I'm sure that they would still be the favorites to make the NFC championships. There are only two good teams in the NFC, after all. An 8-8 team is likely to win their division this year, and with 8 wins the eagles would already have won their division this year.

Remove McNabb from this years' team. Where do you get? With awful receivers, they still went to the NFC championship game 3 years in a row.

In the playoffs.... anyone. Philly always chokes and I think they need all the help they can get to avoid it again.

Nope, you gotta have these guys playing every week. The offense is based on timing and rhythm and if they were to sit for over a month they would be completely stale for the playoffs and not as effective as they'd need to be. Even after this I think McNabb and westbrook should play the last 2 games, at least for a half of each.

It must suck to be a Dallas fan. Wouldn't you cry too, if you had a superstar coach signing, great aspirations for 04, only to be Philly's btch year in and year out? Wouldn't you cry too, when a player like TO has time and time again ravaged your allegedly "good" defense, and then showboated to rub it in? Don't blame Deeko, or any Dallas fan. They've earned the right to drive in the WAAAAAHMBULANCE for at least another year!

Yea right. Over the past hour, all I've heard from everyone around me is "why are we cursed??" or "can't we just be healthy for the playoffs??" The waahmbulance will be workin overtime in the city of brothertly love for the next few months.

Not being an NFL coach, I can't say for sure, but I don't think it's fair to Reid to say that. Generally you clinch whatever (home field in this case), then you sit the players. Being it was a close game and they were trying to win, you probably don't sit McNabb & TO.
