I went to the T-Mobile website and I was not crazy about the choices there. Are there any other phones out there that work on t-mobile but are not on the website? Doesn't seem like a whole lot of cool choices.

You can always buy those phones that are "unlocked"... meaning you can use them on just about any cell network. You can buy them on eBay or just do a google search for them.

Any GSM phone will work, you can go to Europe and get pretty much any phone from there.

What phone do you have now?

I was looking at older phones because they were free or had cash back in December. My sis got the Motorola v300 unlocked. I was aiming for the v505 or v600, but they didn't have it in stock. I ended up sticking with my old SE T616 unlocked. I stick to GSM networks and don't bother with phones that can't be unlocked (easily).

depends on what functions you want. there are always a bunch of crazy japanese phones in chinatown that is not official here in the US.

personally i just want a color screen and it has to be small and has a long battery life. surely my T610's buttons are not working as good but it does the job. the T630 would be a good phone.
