Just scored a great deal at a T-Mobile Store. Signed up for a their 69.99 / 800 anytime shared minutes family plan. Got 3 phones with No Activation charge. 2 Sony Ericssion T68i and 1 T300 (with camera) phones. They also threw in 3 car chargers. They charged me 75 bucks for the T68i and gave me 2 Mail-in rebates of $50 each, and $50 for the T300 with a $50 rebate. I walked away with 3 phones for $50 after rebates.
They simply price matched Amazon, but waived the activation charge, save 3 x $35 = $105 savings.
I visit the T-Mobile store at Columbia Mall in Maryland. Ask for Chris. Evidently, the sales folks have quotas they have to meet by the end of the month. I couldn't believe it until I asked for the activation to be waived. He knew about the price match and had no problems with it. The rebates expire tomorrow, 12/31.
This deal is hotter than the 2 other floating around because of the waived activation charge. Just tell them you were referred by a fellow T-Mobile customer.
Best of all, they have a 14 return policy. Figure I'll give T-Mobile a try.
I've been with Sprint for 7 years, 2+ with Sprint Spectrum and 4 + with Sprint PCS. Have been fed up the crappy coverage.
