T-Mobile will provide a code for pre-paid customers after (each) 60 days of service (reportedly by customer care chat as well by phone) .

Another option is buying one via eBay however for my model it is $30 for some reason. D:

Yes, any current or former customer (who has not already requested a code within the previous 60 or 40 days depending upon pre or post-paid account) to kindly request an unlock code (for my IMEI) from customer care. It would make me a happy chappy.
