Jsut cancelled my T-Mobile service with Sidekick B&W. Unit failed to connect to the network one day for no apparent reason... they wanted $70 for a replacement. It was nice, but I don't really think I need to be paying $49/mo for all the gimmicks anymore.

Didn't think you could sign a 2 year contract with T-Mobile? At least thats what they told me. Which was fine to me, hate contracts.

I'll stay with my pocket PC phone edition. Until the treo 600 gets more affordable, anyway. I really need to get used to surfing/email without a stylus though.

It doesn't look much different IMO. Also I would never buy a sidekick for one main reason, you look like a retard making a conventional telephone call with those things!

I've tried a friend's mono sidekick, it was like the slowest internet I've experienced in a long time, now that I think about it, 56k felt faster to it.
