I am thinking of getting a phone for my tmobile. I also did the ms contest and will receive Titan or Focus S, which I plan to sell to fund for my phone. UI am thinking of:

Nokia N9
HTC Sensation z710e.

Both of these phone can be have on amazon fro around 300-400 used. I have web2go so both of thesew hpone will have 4g speed. Of course there is the choice of keeping either Titan or Focus S, unlock it and use it as 2g internet, wich isn;t a big deal as I usually just check email or light web browsing on the phone. What would the advantages of disadvantages? I know N9 can probably dual boot android and meego, but the phone is pretty weak as it is a pretty new.....

I've heard they've fixed all the problems associated with updating baseband to 6.15.00, but don't quote me.

Pretty sure baseband 6.15.00 still breaks GPS. It did on mine.

As for the lumia 710, I'm not sure if it will work with t-zones; I believe they will force you onto a standard data plan. This I believe is true of any recently released phones with registered T-mobile IMEI #'s.

If you want the 1700 band for 3g speeds, I think the only choice is to get a international gsm galaxy nexus, which will run you 450+.

How much do you pay for your service? You could probably go prepaid and pay the same amount and use whatever smartphone you want.

My current plan is the $30 business plan with 300 minute and 100 text and 5.99 for tzone. I was actually thinking about going with the monthly4g, there is $30 100 minute 5 gig datwe and unlimited text suit me pretty well since i rarely talk on phone. On the other hand, my nexus one is getting old and power button is busted.

I was thinking the same thing. The $30 plan would be good for you.
Or for $45 (no tax) get Straight Talk if you need unlimited minutes. They use the t-mobile network.

Your plan right now is $30+5.99+tax.

the HTC ONE S comes out next week.

Any idea what the non contract price on the One-S is going to be? I would like to switch over to T-mobiles 4g prepaid 4g plan with a newer phone. I'm still using a thunderbolt on verizon 2 months past my contract expiration.

I can't seem to make a decision to get a new contract or go with something else.

Heck, Find a Vibrant for around $120 and call it a day. With ICS loaded it's a fantastic phone. Oh, and just signup for the $49.99 unlimited everything plan (well 2GB data before throttle.
