T-Mobile was just approved by the Florida Public Service Commission to offer low-cost service to Lifeline customers (low-income customers). The plan offered under this program is quite generous:

  • 145 "whenever" minutes
  • 500 night minutes
  • 500 weekend minute

It is a $19.99 plan - $13.50 Lifeline discount = $6.50 / month.

It sounds like this plan should be available to anyone under the full $19.99 price (that is, for those who do not qualify for the Lifeline discount). Does anyone know if it does?

$20 plan? You cannot even get that is MA anymore......

My logic was that the $19.99 plan is available from T-Mobile, period. THEN, *if* you qualify for Lifeline, you get $13.50 off.

It is a quite decent plan if it can be gotten for $19.99 by the general public.
Even if it is not, many students who only work part-time may qualify for the $6.49 Lifeline deal.

no no...I understand that....just saying that they ditched the $20 plan years ago in the NE area. Lowest price is 29.99.
