I can get them for around the same price with a 2 year contract with T-Mobile.

Note, OIS is pretty important as I have a bit of hand tremor. The biggest thing holding me back with S4 is I'm worried pictures will turn out blurry without OIS, as the S4 only has DIS.

Here's my pro's for each that I gathered:

LG G2:
better camera, has OIS
larger battery
faster cpu
Larger screen (not important to me due to small difference)

Samsung S4:
removable battery
SD card storage expansion
can use with gloves on
software update/support is better

Would this be a pretty accurate comparison between the two?

If you're on T-mo and considering the G2, I'd wait to see how the Nexus improves/worsens it.

Im guessing that would mean until mid/late october? I've been using a nokia E71 on ATT for like 5 years now without data and would like to upgrade kinda soon, and the promotion offer I have will change in october

The g2 is the superiour hardware. Dev support of AOSP for g2 is up in the air. S4 has the GPe roms and more. If you're not hard up to get one right now, I'd wait for the N5 announcement. Then you'll have all the important releases for the fall.
