T-Mobile G1 vs Anything else?

I am about to buy a new phone. I don't care if it's used. However I'm looking for touch screen, above 350mhz, camera (with flash would be nice) and good looks.

If I extend my contract 2 years I get the G1 for 180 (which is my limit on money) however I hear its camera is bad.

I was looking at a Mogul or Tilt but they are just so heavy and old. Any other suggestions I should look at? Up to $180 (used as well).. I tried craigslist for all sorts of HTC's, but can't seem to find the right one, since 90% of the ones sold are CDMA and I need one with a sim card holder. I had an offer for a Diamond for 180 but it didn't hold a sim card either (and I love that phone I want it really bad)

Tell me what I should get, and if the G1 is worth it?

Well, it doesn't have flash... but do any cell phone cameras? I mean, if you want really good photos just use a real camera. That said, in decent light situations the G1 can take decent pics. Look around on google and you can find some that others have taken.

For me the killer app requirement is some kind of way to add new functionality, like Apple's App Store or the Android Market. G1 is newer so it doesn't have as many apps, especially since it's still another month before devs can charge for their apps, but it has some pretty nice apps already.

I mostly like my G1. Having to use a headphone adapter is pretty stupid though, especially when the one that came with it can't also charge at the same time and the stupid thing broke anyhow. Got one in the mail from amazon that both charges and has a headphone jack.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah my Dash didn't have a jack either. I broke 3 of those mini usb converter things, cause they suck.

hopefully next year if ever G2 comes out with built in camera with flash but who knows?

I'd recommend this one since you don't mention anything about browser experience etc. it's basically a phone with a camera.
