No. This is a WM5 Smartphone. The MDA is a WM5 PocketPC Phone Edition.

I set one of these up today for a client. Man, did I think it was ugly by the pics. In person, whoa...it is freaking sweet! So thin, gorgeous screen, well built and easy to handle. Rubberized coating is awesome too. Was setting up a Q for another guy there...the Dash definitely blows it away, IMO.

If only it was a full WinMo device and not just smartphone...I can't bear to give up all the great software I've bought for my MDA.

just boought one for $99 after rebate on 1 yr contract. can't wait to get this bad boy up and running.

welp, I've had it for a day and half, and I have to say, pics on the net do NOT do this phone justice! It feels like it belongs in your hand. They did everything right with this phone. perfect size for viewing web pages. I hate the MDA, too bulky, and tough to use one handed. This thing blows everything else out of the water.

I had to look VERY hard, but I think I found some negatives:

1)meh camera (who cares?)
2)jog dial is useless as it only controls volume (there's a hack for it though, to map the dial to do other functions)
3) no ability to edit Word/Excel apps (again, who cares? with a screen that small, I only need to view, not edit. Plus, there is supposed to be software coming out that will allow editing)

that's about all I could find.

get this phone. you won't regret it.

grr...stop it! I can't ditch my MDA because of all the damn software I've bought that won't work on Smartphone that I can't live without.
