T-mobile anybody?

Does anybody here have T-mobile? I'm looking into them as a possibility, also Nextel. Any good or bad experiences or any other suggestions? I'll be moving to Minneapolis/St. Paul and need a new plan.

Also - would it be better for me to buy in a store or online?

Thanks!
Regine

I'm nw from that area, and nextel is awesome, tmobile is nice and cheap though in comparison. I'd check out amazon they have a cool deal for the t mobile t610 you end up getiting it for $-75, but not sure if thats still going on.

I've got t-mobile here, and I'm generally happy. I've noticed that I get a strange echo sometimes when I'm talking on my phone, but otherwise I have no complaints.

There is a new Tmobile thread everyweek.

Tmobile is good, the plans are great, customer service is good, the phones are decent.

Reception isnt so great.

There have been several threads on this lately, like this one.

I just switched to T-Mobile from AT&T recently and I'm very happy with it so far, but I don't know what their network is like in Minneapolis. I bought my phone(s) on Amazon because they have some really good deals - I looked at stores in my area and they couldn't match them.

So I'm assuming Nextel would be your first choice, T-mobile second? 😉

I just like the two way of nextel. But its expensive and they have no bluetooth phones. Only reason I'd want a cell is to be able to check email with my ppc😛
I know plenty of people with t mobile and nextel, i'd go for tmobile though since nextel doesn't have a BT phone. Thats it though.

I have tmobile, and my dad has nextel. with both of these plans, you have to be in the 'tmobile area' or 'nextel area' to get reception on the phones. If you roam out of these areas you will have zero reception. If you are going actually be living in Minneapolis or St. Paul, I would get Tmobile, because you will have reception and it is the cheaper of the two.
