T&L Support for Simpsons H&R

I just got this game and it won't play with my current video card (Rage 128Pro) so I'm shopping for a new one (looking at the 9600Pro). Anyway, the requirments for the game state that you have to have T&L support with the graphics card. What the heck is that? I can't find it in any of the specs for the cards?

Transform and lighting. The ideas is that it transfers most of the rendering math from the CPU to the graphics chip. The GeForce cards were the first ones to have it (circa 2000). Anything more recent should do you fine.
