Does this sound like a T-bird:

"850MHz AMD(R) Athlon(R) Processor
This item determines the speed at which your HP Pavilion executes programs
and performs calculations

Experience the most in multi-media with MMX and 3Dnow! technology. The AMD
Athlon processors are designed with 128 KB of on-chip level one cache, 256
KB of on-chip full-speed level 2 cache and a 200 mhz front-side bus."

That's a Thunderbird alright. The Athlon Classics had 512kb of off-die L2 cache running at 1/2 or 1/3 core clock (can't remember the L1, I believe it was 64kb).

Yep, It's definately a TBird! the L2 cache is what differentiates it between the Duron. The difference being the Duron has 64K L2 cache and the TBird 256K.
