T-Bird with ECC memory ?????

I am about to build a server for my Church based on the 1ghz T-bird and MSI Turbo with raid. The Tech Zone says in an e-mail that their new server is a T-bird with ECC memory. I didn't think any of the motherboards support that type so I was going to use CAS 2 at a 3 setting. Does anyone know of a motherboard out there for the AMD's that support RAID and ECC memory?

I took a look at MSI website it said: Main Memory 168-pin unbuffered DIMM x3, maximum 1.5GB The download wasn't working for the manual so I will check later to see a better definition. Tom's Hardware reported that they found no reference to ECC so they suspected it wasn't. I found a DFI board that did but it was not raid nor did it seem to having the quality of the abit, asus, msi.

Thanks for the info

The DFI boards I've used so far were OK, and so is their support.

KT133(A) chipset does support ECC memory operation - other chipsets that have integrated VGA do not. It's up to the mainboard design whether it's actually offered as a feature or not. However, making an ECC capable mainboard from an ECC capable chipset requires $0 (zero) worth of additional stuff, so I can't see any reason to make a non-ECC KT133(A) mainboard.

Regards, Peter
