T-bird price went up??????

Yesterday Pricewatch and Pricescan listed Thunderbird 900 retail versions for as low as $250. Today they are $275 and $285 respectively. What happened to the huge price cut? It looks like a price hike to me. What's up with that????

well oem tbird went down a lot. 130 something for tbird 800, that is damn fine

I heard most of the price cut's focus is on T/bird 800. Supposed old list price of Tbird 800 was $300. Now, the list price is ~ $150. The list price is different from street price. Street price are usually lower.

The cheapest boxed 800 I see is $163 on Pricewatch! And I don't think I'd even trust that place. Am I not looking at the right vendors?

Yeah its not hot at all. Compuplus is a respectable vendor, although it overcharges shipping. However, I've heard that if you get a DOA or a bad order, they are a fuss to talk with. Resellerratings, baby. Hehe.

I'm not trying to defend Comp-U-Plus, but a friend ordered a retail video card from them yesterday. The shipping charge was only $14.95 for FedEx 2-day delivery. I think this is a big improvement over what they would have charged in the past. Maybe, they're cleaning up their act.
