T-Bird and a GFD? Any thoughts? Anyone?

I have recently acquired an 850 slot a T-birt processor. I am replacing my 700 with this one. I had it going at 800 with a GFD. I was hoping to atleast eeak out another 50 mhz from the new one, but any other setting would not boot. Anyone have any knowledge about this? Did AMD "fix" the GFD trick?
