T-Bird 900 no POST at 500?

Hey guys, I just did the pencil trick on my T-Bird 900, and I tried to adjust the multiplier, down to 5X for 500MHz (just to make sure it was working), and it won't POST... Could it be that my bridges aren't connected properly? I went over them a lot of times, and they're not touching together, did I just not get enough lead on them? And I know that Loctite/Permatex rear window defogger kits work better, but right now I'm stuck with pencil... Any thoughts? Just redo my bridges? I have an Asus A7V rev 1.02 w/ 1005D BIOS if it matters any... I was using the multiplier dipswitches on the board... And then I tried JumperFree mode, which with BIOS 1005D and higher should give multiplier control even on this rev of the board...

i think underclocking can be bad. I cant run 3d games with my v3 if it's clocked under 110MHz(didint try to many setings but it would crash on load at slower speeds)

hmm... there should be absolutely no issues with underclocking. try 5.5. maybe you need to do the bridges again 🙁

That's what I'm thinking, I forgot to mention earlier I tried it at 950 as well, and I know the chip is stable past that, so it's probably the bridges. Oh well... I think I'll just hold off until my Taisol gets here next week, it'll be a big thing all at once... install my A7V133, redo the bridges, and install my new Taisol.
