1.716GHz out of a T-Bird? I've only seen the Japs with their mutilated motherboards and liquid nitrogen cooling get that high. That CPU/ID shot is so fake. I'd like to see it without maximum jpg compression and in gif format with 256 color optimized octree.

the site says it is kt7a with voltage mod. does that mean they crank it up past 1.85v? man, talk about chip suicide....

AdamK47, I assume you meant some Japanese and not "the Japs". That was a typo I hope, yes?

I disagree about the faking - apparently the "001BBFC1" at the bottom is a checksum which nobody knows how to generate and only h-oda can verify. Have him check it! That would prove it's either an excellent fake or its real.

ARG!!! :| Political Correctness :|

Anyways, I don't think this is out of reach. Tom got a TBird 1.2 to 1.6ghz using refridgeration. If the chip is choice and cooled correctly, then the high voltage shouldn't kill it right away. Here's the link to Toms machine in case anyone was wondering.

Lol, I wasn't aware I was on any sort of golden throne.
Anyhow, my point being is that some might find that offensive and that's because it is a derogatory term. When was there a time that it was used for non dehuminization?

It's not about political correctness, it's about tact.

Nope. I typed Japs on purpose. It's much easier than typing those Japanese. I didn't mean to be offensive. Geeez... You Imps are all alike.

If I may stray OT: Not using the term "Japs" is not a result of Political Correctness, it's common decency! Or at least, it should be. The term was born from the marriage of racism and hatred and it doesn't magically become acceptable because little minds think it does.

Call me what you want, but do me a favour and at least be open minded enough to think about it.
