systemworks 2006 recovery disk?

Just upgraded to systemworks 2006, and as I use ghost for most of my backup needs I wanted to check the recovery disk. On my laptop it works fine, on my desktop (see sig), it wont boot, it gets to a point where it says please wait and stays there (for atleast 2 hours). The 2005 disc works but I am not sure if it will work with an image from 2006 (trying that now). Any suggestions. I have treid unplugging my usb drive and with only my WD (main sata drive) and get the same results. I have also tried clocking the processor down and experienced no change.
