Gday everyone!

Just a quick post to inform people (especially Tarca, Panhead and Team TROOPERS) that the schools' computers where i work are slowly coming online! Added 3 PIII 933s and convinced the staff to leave the computers on overnight and on the weekends, which they were not doing before

Also, next week I get two more PIII 933s as well as a dual 866 PIII server, and if i can get some two or 3 standalone PIII 933s to network ports, then they will be added too...

I'm debating adding the old PII 300s and celery 566s - I don't think they'll run too well with only their 32 megs of ram, so i may have to leave them alone till the school gives me authorization to upgrade those machines... ah well!! Its a welcome boost at any rate!! :)

:)That's great Mate!

That will put you past me in no time!

I have a cellery533 and it turns out 3 units every 2 days not bad.

I would suggest installing SETI as a service for those machines if they are running NT/2K/XP. They perform extremely well as a service with the least amount of info being shown to the users.

Way to go, Pie. Bring them in for 0-30°N Troopers :D

All the machines (bar the dual proc server) run Win98SE, but I'm going to install SETIq on the server (it is currently on one of the classroom computers) and have all the other computers running SETIDriver... as they are right now. I have SETIDriver installed as a service. I'm merely using the caching utility of SETIDriver, cos for some reason, the teachers love turning off the computers!!! :Q how dare they!! ;)

Hopefully, my average should be around 30-50WU's a day within the week! :D

/me is afraid of Cardassian Ale! ;)

Ahhh, why not! As long as it doesn't kill my fleet, then it can't be bad!

SetiQueue is the best caching utility for a LAN IMHO. Just make sure the machine running SetiQueue won't get turned off :Q

I can't wait to see our team blow by others in Division 2 :D:D:D:D:D:Q

Sounds like quite a coup there, Pie Guy. Too bad it came just a little too late to give Tarca a few sleepless nights in the Marathon. :)

PS - I thought the Cardies drank that thick black syrupy goo called Kanar that rots their scales. ;)

Nice assimilations there Pie! Great for TA! :D

It just means that Team A & TWAIN have to work even harder to regain the lead in the MTR race! :D
