SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION BSOD before bootup! Sigh...

I've been running the beta version of vista 32-bit for a while. But a month ago I got the retailed version of vista. I had two versions. a 32-bit and 64-bit. I installed the 64-bit. Worked fine.

Last week I formatted my pc, and re-updated everything with new drivers and even my motherboard's bios.

Now I'm getting a BSOD before bootup. I'm not sure what's causing it, but I tried going into the bios and enabling HID-Audio from Non-Vista to Vista. Then booted up. It works... Then another random time I start, it happens again. Then I change it from Vista to Non-Vista.

Then it works again... (Some times it works, some times it doesn't). I don't really think changing that setting in the bios actually did anything, but then again... I have no idea.

Anyone have any idea why this is happening, or how I can find out what's causing it?

-Thanks alot.

ps: Oh yeah... when I start windows again and click "Check for Solution" in Vista, it comes up saying ATI Catalyst Control was what was at fault..... I'm not sure how accurate that is.

Here are my minidump and WER tmp files. Not sure if they'll help.

Are you running the Catalyst 7.3 drivers (I'd imagine since you said you updated everything with new drivers)? If so, try setting the ATI External Event service to manual and see if the bluescreens stop (you can start it once you login or write a script to start the service on login). You can also roll back to 7.2.
