System32.exe What does it do?

I deleted this file due to a virus.
I need to replace it now.
How?

 

There is no system32.exe, it's a virus.

What os? you could get it from your cd... it will probably be named system32.ex_ so you need to extract it, to do that you use extract...

extract has a command line interface, just bring up an MS-Dos window and type extract for help...

So shjould I edit my ini file to remove the open="C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32.exe" line?

Nothing, it's just taking up space. I deleted mine last week.
