I am having a problem where my computer can no longer enter standby automatically (it works manually). My power scheme is set to "Home/Office Desk", system standby to "After 30 mins" and everything else is "never". The screen saver is set to activate after 45 mins.
The computer is a Shuttle SB61G2 with a 3.4c GHz chip and 1 GB RAM. The OS is XP Home.
The virus definitions software is up to date and has been run. I have also run scandisk and everything is fine. I can reinstall the OS and the auto standby would work perfectly for a few weeks before failing again. This is a minor problem but has become annoying. Can you help?
