System Works 2002 and XP

I have Windows Xp and just bought Norton System Works 2002. I inistalled it and selected a Full Install. It installed everything except Norton Utilities. Did it not install this component because it doesn't work/not needed in XP? I have tried doing a full install, and tried adding it after the install, but it won't install.

Does anyone else have XP and System Works 2002 installed? Is this the same for you?

Thanks,

Chris

It's not uncommon for Symantec products to cause problems with a new MS OS. I remember PCAnywhere 9 basically destroying Win2K builds. You might want to check with Symantec for updates to the program before you install it.

I already have it installed. Everything else is working fine. It says it supports Windows XP. I have done a Live Update and the only thing it found were new virus definitions. I will go to Symantec's web site and see if I can find anything.

When I look at the Programs menu, all I see is Antivirus, Ghost, Celan Sweep, etc. I don't see an entry for Norton Utilities at all. It is as if it didn't install it.

Try XP uninstaller.
You can change, add or remove programs on the Sysworks.

Or Uninstall it, then reinstall, choose Custom install this time.

I'm using the Utilities from Sysworks.
