System won't POST with ATI TV tuner cards installed?!

I have the Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra 9 motherboard in my HTPC. I just put it together and installed my Sapphire Theatrix TV Tuner cards, which are based on the ATI Theatertek 550 PRO chipset.

I have 3 TV tuners at my house that I have played with:
2 x Sappire Tuners (exact same)
1 x Nvidia NVTV tuner

I have tried every combination of the Sappire/ATI tuner in my system and it refuses to POST when either (or both) of them are installed.

If i put in the Nvidia tuner, system POSTs fine. WTF?

I want to use the Sappire tuners because they are way higher quality because they have an on-board 3D comb filter.

Any ideas?

im having the same problem with my nvtv tuner on a ecs kn1 extreme board, im thinking that nforce chips dont want to watch tv. but i was wondering if you found a resolution to your problem. also was wondering if the nvtv tuner was worth keeping.

I didnt' find a solution.. but it's weird how you can't get the NVTV tuner to work. All other messages I have read posted up on teh web indicate that the ATI Theater550 PRO card is the one that is incompatible with Gigabyte Nforce4 boards.

I jsut stuck with my NVTV but the picture isn't that great.. i need a way to tune it.

Same problem here on a Foxconn NF48KMC (Nforce4).

This seems to be an Nforce + Theatrix problem. Anybody hear of problems with the Powercolor or ATI versions? These should all be essentially identical.
