I just recently put together a new system and when I start it up all it starts up fine but then stops at the message (SDRAM at DIMM(s):1,2,). When it gets to this message the cursor is blinking but I can't type anything at all. I am able to get into BIOS and I checked all the settings to make sure everything is ok. There is no operating system on the Hdrive and the processor is an Athlon 1.4 Tbird. Please offer any help you can give and if you want to email me at (codydysert@comcast.net) feel free. Thanks.

1st off, Welcome to the Forums! :)

Can you give some more specs, like what kind of mobo just in case. Have you checked to make sure you put in the RAM right? I've put it in backwards before :(

I checked the ram and it is in the right way. The system recognizes the ram but keeps getting stuck at that message. The motherboard is a ECS Elitegroup K7AMA.
