I cannot get my system to post. It starts up, the chipset fan spins, everything makes noise, but no post and nothing appears on my screen. I have the 266mhz bus chipset and have tried moving the jumper to 100 and 133, neither works.

Hey kevin.. ouwe rukker..

Just slam in that Ram man. It's normal for the Iwill board to press the Ram in verry hard especially the second ram slot. I've seen these problems before on forums. Press it in hard but... try not to break any stuff. Waiting for feed-back..

I have tried clearing cmos, and using both 100 and 133 settings. I have checked the ram and pressed it in firmly. I have tried this with hd cdrom floppy and everything plugged in, and i have tried it with just video card and mbchip powersupply. It has never posted its a brand new setup ive been buying components for.

hmmm...i dont know if this is an issue or not...but, is the fan on the heatsink plugged into the CPU fan header? Some boards dont fire up the CPU if it's not...

and...the RAM, when you seated it, you felt the "click", right?

and...the video card is seated well...right?

also...here's another basic-ish question, but it does happen on occasion: you did close the socket latch, yes?

At any rate, from what you've told us...I'm pretty sure the problem is RAM, mobo, or video...do you have any other parts (or know people/stores which do) that you can switch and test?

Ram did click, fan is pluuged to the right plug. Theres a nice diagram included in the manual. And it spins when you power the pc on. Video card is seated properly. I havent bought a new video card for this new comp so i just take it out of my current one and throw it into the athlon system. doesnt work but when i put it back in its usually system works fine. TNT2 32mb. so i dont think it is video.
Yes i closed the socket latch. hehe

Read my reply to your question on the technical support forum. If you have to, pull the mobo out of the case to make sure it is not grounded and then restart the system.
