How does this look? (I will be overclocking)

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice retail (any suggestions about good replacement HSF?)
MB: DFI Lan Party UT NForce4 Ultra-D
Mem: 2x512mb OCZ Value VX
PSU: OCZ PowerStream 520W
Video: still deciding between x800xl, 6800gt, x850xt (PCIe, obviously)
HD: keeping my Seagate 200gb ATA
Optical: keeping my NEC ND-2500A
Monitor: keeping my Compaq P1220 22" CRT (for now, will eventually upgrade to 20 or 24" Dell widescreen LCD)
Sound: keeping my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz

Looks pretty good to me. If I were in the market, that is close to what I would pick, possibly go with the 6800gt due to price/preformance ratio.

Looks good.

Any of those video cards are great. Although it's the best, I wouldn't go with the X850XT, as it seems to be overpriced in comparison to the X800XL/6800GT.

For a HSF, a thermalright XP-90/XP-120 will offer really good cooling, while a Zalman CNPS7000/CNPS7700 will give you great cooling without costing as much.

About the video card: the 6800GT has the shader model 3 support, how important do will that be for next gen games? I know that AOE III is supposed to use it...

Also, like I said I will probably upgrade to a 20 or 24" LCD monitor in the near future, will the X800XL or 6800GT be enough for a 2005fpw or 2405, or should I go for a X850XT?
