Updating my main system and would appreciate your input. I do plan to overclock the new system and would like to get at least 3.4GHz from the E8500 or Q9550. I play some games on the system (no SLI/Crossfire needed) but I work in Adobe Lightroom every day. The quad core would speed up rendering images out of lightroom but that would be about the only benefit I think for as far as applications that can use all 4 core long enough to make a difference, though it should be considerable. I am just not sure it is worth the extra 355.00. I am not interested in RAID either.

I am fairly set on everything except the motherboard though I welcome suggestions to anything.

-Current System
Asus M2N32 SLI Deluxe
Athlon X2 600 @ 3.2GHz
2GB OCZ DDR2 800
PNY GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB
Soundblaster XFi gamer
3 Seagate 7200.11 drives
1 Sumsung F1 1TB drive
OCZ GameXStream 600watt (I also have a PCPC Silencer 750)
LG GGC-H20L blu-ray (SATA) and a pioneer DVD+RW drive (IDE)
Antec large tower (don't remember the name/number)

-New components
Intel E8500 or Q9550
Noctua NH-U12P
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF
Motherboards I am considering, Asus:
P5E
P5E Deluxe
P5Q-E
Maximus II Formula

The P5E seems like a good board and I can not get much info on the P5E Deluxe. The Formula seems like a good board as well but I don't know if it is worth the extra money for me. The P5Q-E seems good as well but like the Formula is based on an older though still good chipset.
