I have a minor problem with my system tray icons. When I mouse over them a text bar is displayed with info about whatever program it is and when I mouse over the time a text bar with the date is displayed.
The problem is that these text bars appear under the system tray, I can see the top edge of the text bar just peeking out but the actual text is hidden by the system tray/taskbar itself.
If I right click on the taskbar, go to "Properties" and uncheck "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows" my problem is solved, the text bars are now entirely visible. But I want the taskbar on top of other windows so this is not an option.
I have had this problem before but the occurences were rare and never lasted long. Now however it's a permanent problem since doing a clean install of XP Pro last night. I haven't done a lot of tweaking yet either.
It's not much more than an annoyance but still, if someone has a tip or possible solution it would be nice.
Thanks,
ConBas
