System slows after using Acronis Try&Decide.

I've been trying out different software before actually installing a SSD in my notebook.

One of the things I've tried so far is Acronis True Image Home 2010. The Try&Decide feature is very nice, but one thing I've noticed after using it is that my system becomes slower and slower the more I use Try&Decide.

Is this something that really happens after using Try&Decide so many times? Or is there something that can be done to prevent the system from becoming slower after using Try&Decide numerous times?

True Image is not yet ready for SSD prime time. That will be addressed in a forthcoming Acronis upgrade.

Ok, another True Image question.

I've created the bootable media (on a flash drive). After doing a fresh install of Windows 7 on my computer I'll reboot and boot the bootable Acronis flash drive.

When I select disk backup, do I perform a sector-by-sector backup or just have it backup the used part of the SSD? To make sure the image keeps the proper 4k sector / alignment, do I need to do a sector-by-sector backup?

Can't help you with SSDs. I only clone my drives - creates a duplicate that is immediately bootble with no restoration needed.
