System Shutdown when gaming...need assistance

I just built a new Micro ATX PC with a stock 300 watt PSU. The system boots up fine and regular office apps run fine. However, when I start gaming (any game) the system shutsdown completely after about 10 mins of play. The power won't come back on unless I unplug the AC and plug it back in. Any ideas what might be causing this shutdown? Lack of PSU power? I didn't get temp reading on the CPU as MSI Corecenter isn't loading up. I've read on other forums that this may be a Direct X problem as well? Any truth to this? Everything works except when gaming. Any advice or information would help greatly. Thank you.

My Rig with the system shutdown problem:

Case - Antec Aria w. built-in 300w PSU
CPU - AMD 64 3500+ Winchester Core
Mobo - MSI MS-7093
GPU - ATI X800XL
HD - WD Raptor 74gb
Sound - Audigy 2 ZS
DVD - Liteon (forgot model)

What are the full specs of the power supply? +12V etc.... My machine used to crash only in games once it was about 2 years old - turned out to be the PSU couldn't supply sufficient power gaming. Swapped in a new PSU and it was all fine.
