The must restart pop-up came up a few minutes ago while I was surfing the net. I haven't d/l'ed anything and I didn't alter anything. Is there a way I can check what the last change was?

I am running win2k pro.

You may be able to see what changed by going to:
My Computer/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer
Look for any entry around the time of occurence to see if anything is showing.

I'm wondering if you clicked on a link with a java or script set to run which would have caused a request to reboot. Be careful.
I'd look for stuff in the start up folder and scan for viruses.
