Does system restore delete all files since the last restore point, or just drivers and the likes?

Yeah me too. I'm just afraid that if I restore it may take me waaaaaaay back, as in SP2 installation back, which would fux0r me over. Then again it may have just been one of the latest software installs. I hope so.

I would strongly suggest that until you knuckleheads learn more about what system restore does that you leave it on.

God, this thread is the blind leading the blind.

By default it will delete things in the windows directory and program files, but not touch your documents. So, if you roll back and app you recently installed may be gone, but any documents you created with that app will still be there.

It's not that difficult to understand System Restore.

Click Start/Help and Support and type 'System Restore' in the search box. Read the search results.
