Hi,

Just bought a new MSI GTX 660 Ti Power Edition OC.Installed the new Nvidia drivers from the website. When i was playing Battlefield 3, the system got restarted and it displays "Windows has recovered from a Serious error with problem name as blue screen".Is this due to overheating or any fault in the graphic card? Graphic card temps are around 85c.

Also tried the Stress GPU option in "AIDA64 Extreme Edition",again the system restarts with same error.

Please help!

I have installed the latest video drivers from nvidia website.Should i try installing the one given in the CD?

As far as the temps concerned, will try placing in a different room. But previously,i had AMD HD 5670 cards. It too heats up,but doesn't restart.

What are the poosible troubleshooting options for buggy video drivers?

I'm using Corsair GS 800 PSU.

Interesting.

It came down to MSI vs Galaxy for me for the 660 Ti; I'm quite pleased with the Galaxy (the 2gb version)

From other reviews it is as cool, quiet, and energy efficient as the MSI card, and a great overclocker
