System resource usage differences between Windows 7 Versions

Hello all,

Is there any performance / system resource usage differences between Windows 7 versions?
Eg. Windows 7 Home basic/Premium/Professional/Ultimate having in mind that some functions are not available in lower versions. But does it affect performance / resource usage?
 
Let say that Ultimate is the frame reference.

I tried it on a AMD x2 4400 Athlon with 2GB Memory and same Hitachi SATA $) 400GB drives all OS installations x32.

Starter take less resources that are significantly noticeable.

I did not try Home basic.

Home premium takes very little less than the ones that are above it, but it is not really noticeable.

No real difference between Pro - Enterprise - Ultimate.
