System Recovery Problems with HP Computer

I did a system recovery today, and when it was all finished it came up with "NTLDR is Compressed" and it says underneath that "press ctrl+alt+del to restart" so i did that and it came up again and it did it about 5 more times. still the same messege. anyone know whats wrong. I have windows xp home.

If it is still under warranty, call HP.

(sounds like an issue with their OEM non-dos partition)

If you have a original Windows XP CD you could boot to the
Recovery console and copy the NTLDR file of the CD to fix it.

You are talking about doing a SYSTEM RECOVERY from the HP disks, correct?
