Something strange happened with my system today. In the middle of using MS Word, it rebooted.

After it restarts now, it gets to the Windows login screen. Within 5-seconds, the system reboots.

It does this over and over.

Not sure where to start troubleshooting or how to repair the issue.

Unfortunately, we use this as a server and it's very high priority. Please advise.

run a knoppix or other disc boot os to see if the system is stable isolated from the original os.

Assuming it's not overclocked, access the bios anyways to make sure settings are all in standard. If the problem persists, press F8 as soon as you see the Windows screen and boot into safe mode. Ran anti virus, Adaware and the do a disk clean up. Defrag and then try again. If the problem still persists, you might have to try another PSU or even replacing the mobo. To find out if it's PSU, disconnect everything except: Video card, OS HDD, a stick of ram, KB and mouse and try again. If the problem still persists, try another known working PSU. If the problem persist, replace mobo.
