In an effort to increase public awareness of the Armenian genocide, System of a Down have organized a benefit show on April 24, the date Armenians around the world set aside to recognize the atrocities perpetrated for years against their people.

Good band, good cause.
And most of the money will be donated too!
I like these guys.

Pepperoni, and green peppers, mushrooms, olives, chives - I love SOAD. Their music is so much different and is quite catchy compared to today's cookie cutter bands. I don't get much into their "messages" but a lot of their lyrics are funny.

I'm not a fan at all, but this is a worthy cause. The Armenian genocide is amazingly unknown by most folks, and those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it . . .

Whatever happened to the true "badass" bands who would sit around and do hardcore drugs and never dream of attending such an event. Hmmm...

Yeah, exactly. I want to go see somebody like Children of Bodom or Entombed.

Its not just the Armenian genocide that people don't know about. The vast majority have never heard of the Ukrainian or Cambodian genocides either.
